Housing Market Favorable for Preseason Patrons.
Hypothesis that residence gross sales in October would drop dramatically in Collier County following Hurricane Ian was confirmed inaccurate as closed and pending gross sales for the month elevated 23.7 and eight.7 p.c, respectively, in comparison with closed and pending gross sales reported in September, in line with the October 2022 Market Report by the Naples Space Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®), which tracks residence listings and gross sales inside Collier County (excluding Marco Island). And despite the fact that 525 listings have been both terminated, expired or withdrawn from the Southwest Florida MLS throughout October, total stock for the month elevated 72.7 p.c to 2,325 properties from 1,346 properties in October 2021.
