Tavis Smiley, host of “Tavis Smiley” on KBLA Speak 1580 AM, offered a complete of $20,000 in scholarships to the Nationwide Affiliation of Black Journalists of Los Angeles (NABJLA) and the Minority Photograph-Journalism Institute (MPJI). Each organizations play distinguished roles in serving to African Individuals considering journalism and communications pursue their goals and discover potential profession alternatives.
