TAIPEI (Reuters) – Foxconn is planning to speculate T$25 billion ($820 million) within the subsequent three years in new manufacturing services in southern Taiwan to help its electrical automobile (EV) ambitions, the corporate stated on Sunday.
The corporate, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Trade Co Ltd, stated the investments in Kaohsiung will embrace vegetation for making electrical buses and batteries for EVs.
Foxconn, a significant Apple Inc (NASDAQ:) provider and iPhone assembler, has massive ambitions within the EV market because it seeks to diversify its income base.
