PARIS (Reuters) – French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire on Sunday stated he was “very hopeful” Tesla (NASDAQ:) Chief Govt Elon Musk will choose France for a considerable funding linked to the manufacturing of electrical automobiles in Europe.
Musk not too long ago met French authorities officers, together with President Emmanuel Macron, as he explores choices for future manufacturing websites.
Requested whether or not an funding might be linked to battery cells or different elements of Tesla’s enterprise, Bruno Le Maire instructed LCI tv “a number of choices are on the desk”.
“He (Musk) is aware of that he can be welcome in France”, Le Maire stated, including: “It is as much as him to take the choice.”
