(Reuters) -Starbucks stated on Tuesday Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:)’s head, Brian Niccol, will change chairman and chief govt officer Laxman Narsimhan.
Narasimhan, who was appointed as the corporate’s head in September 2022, is stepping down from his function as CEO and as a member of the Starbucks (NASDAQ:) board with speedy impact.
Shares of Starbucks up 10% in premarket buying and selling and Chipotle inventory was down 8%.
