CAIRO (Reuters) -Nineteen folks in central Israel’s Sharon area had been injured, the Israeli police stated, after the navy reported the launch of three projectiles from Lebanon into Israeli territory early on Saturday.
The nationwide ambulance service beforehand reported that seven folks within the central Israeli city of Tira had been injured.
The Israeli navy stated that sirens sounded in a number of areas of central Israel after the projectile launch. Some projectiles had been intercepted, it stated.
“A fallen projectile was almost definitely recognized within the space,” the military added, noting that particulars had been underneath investigation.
The nationwide ambulance service and native media stated the accidents in Tira ranged from delicate to average, whereas two different folks suffered stress signs.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq stated later in a press release it had launched drones at a “important goal” in northern Israel. It was not instantly clear if the group’s motion was associated to the accidents.
