NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index closed on a word on Friday.
Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.33 per cent), Balkrishna Industries Ltd.(up 2.29 per cent), MRF Ltd.(up 1.29 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.14 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(up 0.9 per cent) ended the day as high gainers within the pack.
Alternatively, Exide Industries Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) and Apollo Tyres Ltd.(down 0.15 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day. The Nifty Auto index closed 1.01 per cent at 23368.55. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended
