CARACAS (Reuters) – Two U.S. residents have been arrested in Venezuela, a part of group of what President Nicolas Maduro described on Tuesday as seven “mercenaries,” the embattled chief mentioned in remarks broadcast by state tv.
Maduro, who mentioned the detained U.S. residents had been “very excessive stage,” didn’t present additional particulars or proof of the arrests.
